Target 07/08

Jul-12-2008 By Ashley

I decided that I was going to go and attempt the deal at Target they had in the flyer on the Sobe waters and I think I did very well! The only problem was while I was there a terrible storm rolled through and trapped my youngest and I there for over an hour. I was so worried that I would go way over what my original spending intentions were but I only did by a few dollars and most of that was a great deal I found on cat food for my mom so I’ll get that back! I did this in three transactions but will combine them into one for this. Here is how I did:

(5) Iams Cat Food – 12.50 (2.00 coupons)
(20) Sobe Life Waters – sale 10/$10 buy 10 get $5 GC – 20.00 (.50 coupons)
(3) Binder Folders for coupon binder – 3.27
(1) Cascade Rinse – 3.29 (free coupon)
(13) Huggies wipes – .99/each – 12.87 ($1 Huggies coupons)
Total Before Coupons – 51.93
Coupons – 37.29
Gift Cards Used – 8.34
Total OOP – 6.30

Of the $10 in Gift Cards I received I used 8.34 and still have a balance of $1.66 on the one I have left. I will also get back 3.34 from my mom for the cat food I bought for her. That brings my total OOP down to $2.96! My percentage saved is – 95%!!!!

My father and the girls and I decided to go to Wilson (city about 20 min away) to do a bit of shopping because the Harris Teeter over there is doing triple coupons all summer. While there I wanted to stop in at Staples to get some of the penny items (thanks to some of my Yahoo friends) that I was told about.
