It never hurts to ask…

Rite Aid Logo

I had a Rite Aid coupon for a $30 Gift Card when you transfer a prescription from a pharmacy other than a Rite Aid pharmacy. I had a new prescription called in from the doctor and did not realize until I got up to the drive-thru window that it was for a transferred script. Well being the shopper I am I decided to ask if I could use the coupon with a new script. The cashier asked me where the prescription was transferred from and my immediate response (not trying to be rude or anything) just as a joke was “The doctor’s office.” She then asked me if my daughter has ever had anything filled at their store before and I responded “No.” Without saying another word she took my coupon and went to the register and when she returned I had a $30 gift card!!!! I was super happy and shocked at the same time. So the moral of the story is it never hurts to ask. For asking, and expecting a no answer, I was able to get a $30 gift card!

Walgreens Deals 10-14

Oct-22-2008 By Ashley

I posted this on the forum but I forgot to add it here so check out what I was able to do with our meds last week.

My DH and I had to take our three daughters to the dr. It turned out out we all had strep AGAIN!
We just finished up antibiotics two weeks ago and the kids missed 3 days of school and this week they
will only be able to go one day. Anyway, I had to get all 5 scripts filled and when I went to pick them up I stopped off at Walgreen’s right across the street (we have them filled at CVS). Here is what I got:

(3) Tylenol for kids – 20.97
(3) Robitussin – 11.97
(1) Fusion Power razors refill – 13.99
Subtotal – 46.93
- (1) $4 Gillette coupon – $4
- (3) $3 Robitussin coupons – $9
- (2) $4 Register Rewards from previous weeks – $8
- (1) $3/3 Tylenol mfg coupon – $3
- (1) IVC Tylenol 1.50 off each – $4.50
Subtotal – 18.43
Tax – 3.17
Total OOP – 21.60 (paid for with gift card)

Received $5 register reward for Tylenol and $10 register reward for
Robitussin. Basically I paid $6.60 for everything! I would say I did
pretty good!
