This morning I received an email from Harris Teeter updating some of their 4-day sale prices. The turkey was originally going to be .49/lb with any $25 purchase. They have changed that price to .29/lb!!! They also knocked .80 off the gallon of milk making it $2.99/gallon. If you did not already know the Green Giant canned veggies are also included in the 4-day sale, they are 3/$1!!! There is a limit of 12 on the GG veggies. Their dozen eggs are also marked to .99 (limit 2). Unfortunately, the eggs were sold out at my store. Some other great deals that stick out to me are: ~80% lean Ground Beef – 1.68/lb There are other great deals going on but this is what really caught my eyes. I made a trip there today to get my .29/lb turkey and this is how I did: (2) Pepsi Fridgemate 12-pk – sale – 3.98 Retail total before coupons and sale – 73.24 **The toy was a purchase my daughter wanted to make with her tooth fairy money that she got the night before last. She wanted to purchase a toy and said that if she bought it from Harris Teeter then that would help me meet the $25 min. without having to spend the full $25. She then gave me her $4 to cover the toy. She is only 8 years old and already thinking like this!!! Of course, she will end up getting that money back somewhere along the way (chores, tooth fairy, lunch money, Christmas gift, ect.) It is just the fact that she is actually absorbing what I am teaching her that makes me feel so good! Looking back I wish I would have told them no on the drinks and snacks and added more ground beef with my other wine tags. This would have made my OOP somewhere around $13.50 instead of the $16. Oh well, hind sight is 20/20. I am going back tomorrow to pick up some more of the veggies because my daughters school is doing a food drive and I want to donate some to them. What is the point in using coupons if you can’t do for others along the way with the money that has been saved? Ashley |

Visit your local Home Depot on November 8 – 9 and bring in your old inefficient incandescent holiday lights strings to be recycled and receive $3 off of the purchase of a new string of energy efficient LED lights. There is a limit of 5 discounts per customer. When I did a search online for the strings of LED lights they lowest price I found (for the string lights) was $29.99. If you take in your lights then you will be able to get those marked down to $26.99. While this seems like alot to pay for a string of lights once you take into consideration that LED lights are energy efficient and use extremely low watts and the lifespan of these bulbs can reach up to 100,000 hours you are actually saving money by lowering your utility costs. Another thing to consider is these bulbs emit no UV radiation and will remain cool to the touch. |

You know when you want to print out a webpage but absolutely hate printing all the non-sense that goes along. This software allows you to clip out and keep only what you want to print.
