If you have seen the movie “Horton Hears A Who” and loved it then this is a MUST SEE for you and your kids! My daughter went on a field trip this morning and I tagged along and I am so glad I did! We had the pleasure to see “Seussical the Musical” and we had a blast. Here is a video from you tube of the opening act:

I had to run out and get my baby girls prescription from CVS last night and while waiting I was looking around the store. I did not have any coupons with me so I wanted to get items that would be free or little oop after my ECB’s. I found a GREAT deal! Of course they have the 6 hour energy drinks free after ECB’s so I picked up one of those. I then saw they had the Mylanta on sale with $3 ECB’s back. I picked up the Ultimate strength (shelf said sale $5.99) and took it to the price scanner (something I have begun to do because you never know how much it will really ring up) and it scanned for $3.65 (clearance!). I did have a coupon for it but not on me. It was the last bottle so I was not about to leave it on the shelf and hope it did not get sold before I could go back with my coupon.  Here is how my deal played out WITHOUT ANY COUPONS:

I then received back $4.99 and $3.00 in ECB’s so in total I spent .69! My savings was $11.64! Not a bad trip without coupons! I almost forgot to mention when I scanned my card I got a $10/$30 coupon! YAY ME!

As you can see they are happy with their new throws. Mallory(4)  fell asleep, Abigail(6) grabbed my Nintendo DS and started playing, and Natelyn(9) played Mario Cart on the Wii. Ah, what a peaceful time this was .

As I should have known anything that was really worth getting was not stocked. My store is HORRIBLE for having good deals in stock. I swear I think someone that works there is going through and matching up any good or free deals and pulling the stock off the shelves. The cereal was a great deal! For every 4 boxes purchased you got $2 off at the register. The cereal was on sale 4/$10 and I had (2) $1/2 coupons which doubled. This is how they worked out:

I have done better but I love Honey Comb cereal and a great deal on this is hard to come by. I also got the girls the HSM cereal as a treat. They were super excited about it when I got home.
