My family LOVES peanut butter. In light of the recent recalls of peanut butter I decided to do a little pantry reasearch. I wanted to know what my family can and can not eat. *Please note this is information that was located on January 20 so if there are companies listed in the NOT impacted section that releases new recalls after January 20 please be aware of it. You may want to research it just to be sure! Also note that you need to be careful of vending machine snacks as well. The owners may not realize/care that a recalled product is in their machine and you may trust in the fact that they removed the prodcuts and YOU may end up very sick or dead because of this oversight/lack of caring. So far, as of January 20, 2009, this is what I have found: Companies NOT impacted: ~ J.M. Smucker Company products ARE safe for consumption.
