Honey Kix Giveaway

Aug-28-2009 By Ashley

If you have not had the opportunity to try this NEW Honey Kix then today just might be your lucky day! My Blog Spark sent me this wonderful kit you see above along with a coupon for a free box of the Honey Kix cereal to try and needless to say it did not last long at all in my house! My kids love the regular Kix but when they added the thouch of honey to it that made them super happy! My kids love honey on anything and to add it to one of their favorite cereals made it that much better in their books. Honey Kix is a good source of fiber, calcium and vitamin D, contains 16 grams of whole grain per serving (at least 48 grams recommended daily) and has no artificial flavors or preservatives. A perfect balance of taste and nutrition through simple ingredients, which both the kids and I can agree on!  Now on to the good stuff!

What do you win???

One person will win this awesome kit which includes a Honey Kix cereal container, a Honey Kix cereal bowl, a cute little honey dispenser, and a container to take your cereal and milk on-the-go. (I personally was eyeing these at the stores recently but did not want to spend the $5+ dollars each for 3 of them!)

When will it end???

This contest will end on Friday, September 4 and the winner will be announced on Saturday, September 5.

How do you win???

Morning routine...hmmmm.It should be ways to simplify the night time routine. I do everything at night. Clothes are ready and set out, lunches packed, back packs packed. The kids always have pancakes or waffles in the freezer. Time is of the essence so I always allow plenty of it so the kids don't feel rushed. If I get anxious or rushed it all sprials downward. I make sure I'm getting ready when the kids are eating or on task with something but eating is the longest. When I get my stuff done without interruptions the flow is better. Keeping on the same schedule and routine leaves things predictable. We all like predictable.

on sundays and wednesdays i cook a bunch of meals for the next couple days so i just have to heat them up later. this includes breakfast. routinely I will make a large batch of pancakes and freeze them so i can just pop them in the microwave, or premeasure cereal into baggies for an on the go breakfast. I lay out clothes ahead of time so I am not scrambling in the morning to put together outfits, and I make sure everything needed for the next day at school or work is all together so I can just grab and go. imwiththeband178@gmail.com

    • The first thing I do is wake my 13 yo and see that he's in the shower. Then a warm cup of coffee and the morning paper. Make sure the boy has eaten and is ready for school then my day really begins. Planning ahead is key for me. Flaggcindy@hotmail.com

I pack everything (lunch, school supple...etc) the night before and get breakfast ready to simplify the morning routines!

I lay out all our clothes the night before & I pack the backpacks right after school, this way I am not scrambling in the morning to fill out forms & send checks in to school. I buy larger size bags of snacks & then repackage them into individual snacks. This way the kids can grab an individual snack at anytime. Saves money & time!

For me I have to get up an hour before the kids do so I can start my day with no stress. I also have premade fruit bowls for the kids in the morning in Ziploc containers. Have ceral in Ziploc Bowls so this way they can grab and go if they are having a slow morning!

    • For myself with having three kids and two of them in preschool right now, the most simple thing I can do to make my mornings get off right without a hitch is to definitely have their lunches packed the night before so all I have to do in the morning is grab them out of the fridge! Thanks for a great giveaway :)

I put my cereal and fruit in a bowl with yogurt, so I can eat it on the run and not spill it. Now, with Honey Kix, I won't have to add honey. Yum!
